The EWC 2026 Group C winner's match between T1 and BLG, held on the 16th at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, ended in a victory for BLG. T1 will soon face GAM—whom they defeated yesterday—in a match to decide who advances to the quarterfinals.

BLG started strong, catching 'Faker's' Syndra with a mid-lane gank. T1 responded as 'Keria's' Shen and 'Oner's' Jarvan pressured the mid lane, taking down 'Knight's' Cassiopeia and 'On's' Camille. BLG countered in the void grub pit, using Poppy to drive T1 back, while 'Bin's' K'Sante solo-killed 'Doran's' Sion in the top lane.

A brief lull followed, during which BLG secured two Dragon stacks while T1 took the Rift Herald. The next Dragon was crucial; both teams converged, and although Jarvan engaged, he was blocked by Poppy, allowing BLG to win the teamfight and secure their third Dragon stack. T1 managed to find an opening in the top lane, however, diving with multiple players to take down Poppy and Camille.

BLG later orchestrated a play in the top lane to catch 'Faker's' Syndra, escalating the skirmish and coming out ahead. However, T1 secured a major win in a mid-lane duel between the two AD carries, where 'Phase's' Sivir solo-killed 'Viper's' Ezreal.

BLG completely overwhelmed T1 in the subsequent Dragon teamfight, securing the Dragon Soul and Baron. Despite being in a dire position, T1 managed to turn the tide during the opponent's Baron power play, finding a favorable engagement to take down K'Sante, Cassiopeia, and Camille, significantly closing the gold gap.

BLG won the next teamfight decisively. After winning the mid-lane skirmish and securing the Elder Dragon, BLG kept up the pressure, eventually destroying T1's Nexus to secure their spot in the quarterfinals. T1 will take a short break before facing GAM in a best-of-three series.
