Line Games announced on the 10th that it will release its self-developed premium survivor-like game, Ember and Blade, on PlayStation 5.
By expanding the service to PlayStation 5, the game will now be available to console players in addition to PC users on Steam and the Epic Games Store.
Alongside this announcement, the official page for Ember and Blade has launched on the PlayStation Store, and a new trailer commemorating the release confirmation has been unveiled.
Ember and Blade follows the story of Fenrix, a protagonist who gains immortality after making a pact with an angel at the moment of death, as he struggles to prevent the resurrection of a great demon in another world. The game features a unique, restrained color palette that enhances immersion during action-packed gameplay.
The game is characterized by thrilling combat against endless waves of monsters and bosses armed with intricate attack patterns. It also incorporates a highly flexible growth system, allowing players to develop the protagonist in various ways and adding replay value.
Line Games has been actively incorporating user feedback since the early stages of development to refine the game's quality. The company is also steadily releasing updated demos to build anticipation.
Following further polish, Ember and Blade is scheduled to launch in Early Access for the global market in the second half of this year, with a full global release planned for the first half of next year.
A Line Games representative stated, We are thrilled to bring Ember and Blade to PlayStation 5 following its PC release. We will continue to focus on development to maximize the exhilarating action and overall gameplay experience.
