Kakao Games announced on the 10th that it has opened pre-registration for the 5th anniversary update of 'Odin: Valhalla Rising' (hereinafter 'Odin'), a blockbuster MMORPG developed by Lionheart Studio.

To mark the 5th anniversary of the service on June 24, Kakao Games plans to introduce a new Sorceress class advancement, 'Alchemist,' new 'World Base Occupation' content, and a new server, 'Skadi.

The Alchemist is the fourth class advancement for the Sorceress and the first to be added in about two years since the Enchantress update in 2024. It features a unique combat style using reagent rods and bottles, and is expected to offer a fresh gameplay experience.

Kakao Games will also open the new 'Skadi' server to commemorate the 5th anniversary. Various benefits and events will be prepared to ensure a smooth experience for new server users, with details to be revealed at a later date.

Additionally, the new 'World Base Occupation' content will be introduced. This mode offers a different approach from existing base occupation battles, allowing users to compete against players from other servers for a new combat experience.

Pre-registration runs until June 23. All participants will receive one selection card for an Ivaldi Avatar, Mount, or Weapon, as well as one 11-pull 'Light's Pet' summon card.

Alongside the start of pre-registration, Kakao Games released two teaser videos for the 5th anniversary update. One video introduces the new Alchemist class, while the other previews key content for the anniversary update. Users can get a sneak peek at the Alchemist's combat style and upcoming content through these videos.

Furthermore, Kakao Games announced a brand collaboration between Odin and the champagne brand Golden Blanc, and plans to release 'Odin Quiz on the Block,' a special content piece featuring stories from the past five years with users.

Meanwhile, Kakao Games is hosting various events leading up to the 5th anniversary update. A 14-day pre-anniversary attendance event will run until July 1, rewarding users who log in daily with 66 'Light's' summon cards. Additionally, through the pre-anniversary exchange event, users can trade '5th Promise Tokens,' obtainable in fields or elite dungeons, for various items such as 44 'Divine' summon cards and Floki's Skill Books.
