Kevin Chou’s KSV acquires the prestigious HotS teams, MVP Black and MVP Miracle

The Global eSportainment Corporation KSV, with Kevin Chou as its CEO, announced today that they have acquired MVP Black and MVP Miracle, the professional eSports teams known to be the best in Heroes of the Storm.

This past August, KSV informed of the press of its official establishment of the Overwatch League Seoul team. The corporation has built up its presence in the eSports industry even more with other franchised teams under Blizzard - MVP Black and MVP Miracle, and the corporation is now one more step closer to their objective of founding their own eSports team in the next 12 months.

MVP Black, since its foundation in April 2015, is considered one of the best HotS teams with impeccable victories in a number of main leagues such as the 2017 Heroes of the Storm Global Championship (HGC) Phase #2 South Korea, 2017 HGC Phase #1 Eastern Clash, and 2016 HGC Spring Championship.

Also, MVP Miracle was founded in June 2016, a year after the foundation of MVP Black. They were placed third in the HOT6 Heroes of the Storm Super League 2016 Season 3, and are the team showing fast growth with infinite potential.

With the title’s growing popularity, KSV is planning to invest without limitation by providing not only a scrimming room and accommodations, but also world-class marketing and management as well, so that affiliated players can concentrate on practice in a much more stable environment and ultimately become the best players.

“We are happy to acquire another excellent team from South Korea, the country of eSports. We will help them show their fullest potential on the global stage, and become world-class players. Also, we will not hesitate to provide continuous investment and efforts to broaden the community of HotS so that fans can keep creating various content,” said Kevin Chou, the CEO at KSV.

MVP Black keeps its name until the 2017 HGC Finals, which is being held from October 26th to November 4th, and will be rebranded at the end of this year.
