To mark the 30th anniversary of the Persona series, SEGA Publishing Korea is releasing related anime works for free for a limited time. Starting with the theatrical film series PERSONA3 THE MOVIE, the Persona 4 and Persona 5 anime series will be released sequentially on YouTube.

On the 7th, SEGA Publishing Korea CEO Ko Saito announced that, in celebration of the 30th anniversary, all four parts of the theatrical film PERSONA3 THE MOVIE will be available for free on the official SEGA YouTube Channel until August 31. Following this, the TV anime series Persona 4 The Golden and works related to PERSONA5 THE ANIMATION will also be released for a limited time.

The first to be released is the four-part PERSONA3 THE MOVIE, which is available to watch from now until August 31.

Next, the 12-episode TV anime Persona 4 The Golden will be available from August 18 to September 17. PERSONA5 THE ANIMATION, including The Day Breakers and the two year-end specials, will be available for a limited time from September 15 to October 14.

Alongside the anime releases, an SNS campaign celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Persona series will also be held. Under the theme of 'Passionate Messages for Persona,' SEGA is collecting user messages containing congratulations, memories, and words of support.

Messages must be 30 characters or fewer, and the submission period runs from August 4 to 16. Selected comments will be featured in a 30th-anniversary commemorative video and displayed on large digital billboards in major cities.

The Persona series reached its 30th anniversary in 2026, following the release of the first title, Revelations: Persona. It is a juvenile RPG series set in modern-day Japan that blends everyday experiences—such as school life, friendship, and romance—with occult events, mysterious rumors, and urban legends.

The series follows the stories of boys and girls who awaken to their 'Persona'—another self that lies dormant within them, manifesting as a god or demon—as they meet, overcome various incidents and challenges, and grow.
