Dplus KIA cruised to a 3-0 victory over Hanwha Life Esports' BRO in the first round of the '2026 LoL Champions Korea (LCK)' Road to MSI at LoL PARK in Jonggak on the 6th. With this win, they advance to the second round, where they will face kt Rolster tomorrow.

Early in Game 1, 'Lucid's' Jarvan IV and 'Gideon's' Naafiri met at the scuttle crab in front of the Dragon pit. BRO arrived first, forcing a Flash out of Jarvan and securing the crab. BRO drew first blood with a bottom-lane dive past the 10-minute mark, but DK immediately responded by taking down the Rumble in the top lane.

Both teams began engaging in earnest from that point on. While DK held a slight edge in macro play and secured key objectives, BRO kept pace by trading kills. BRO eventually pressured DK after winning a mid teamfight and taking Baron. However, DK responded with a decisive victory in the following mid teamfight, pushing straight through to destroy the Nexus and take the lead 1-0.

In Game 2, DK seized early control as 'Siwoo's' Tristana completely dominated 'Casting's' Gnar in a level 1 skirmish. In the mid lane, 'ShowMaker's' Ryze led the laning phase against 'Roamer's' Anivia, securing an early kill on the opponent.

DK's 'Career' also roamed top to take down Gnar. Pressuring both top and mid, DK went on to catch 'Teddy's' Caitlyn. Maintaining an aggressive pace, DK continued to rack up kills and secured two Dragon stacks, building a 5k-gold lead before the 15-minute mark.

Although BRO managed a successful counter-attack in the bottom lane, it wasn't enough to shift the momentum. DK secured the Rift Herald and the next Dragon with ease, further widening the gold gap. After a comfortable win in a mid teamfight around the 20-minute mark, DK utilized the tower-shredding power of Ziggs and Tristana to close out Game 2 in just 22 minutes.

In Game 3, a desperate BRO swapped their mid laner from 'Roamer' to 'Loki' to change the atmosphere. BRO pressured the bottom lane, and 'Gideon's' Xin Zhao invaded the enemy jungle, but 'Career's' Shen landed a Flash-Taunt, allowing Wukong to secure a clean kill. A 2-for-2 trade occurred in a bottom-lane skirmish, which favored DK as they traded Shen for 'Teddy's' Ezreal.

Led by a well-farmed 'Lucid' on Wukong, DK won a massive bottom-lane skirmish, allowing 'Smash's' Smolder to pick up multiple kills and snowball rapidly. By the 18-minute mark, the gold lead exceeded 6,000, making a comeback nearly impossible for BRO unless they forced a mistake. BRO collapsed under the pressure of their own overextensions, and after DK secured Baron at 21 minutes, they destroyed the Nexus at 24 minutes to seal the 3-0 series victory.
