KT Rolster lost 0-2 to Hanwha Life Esports in their final match of the first round of the 2026 League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) regular season, held at LoL Park in Jongno on the 29th. Having been undefeated with an eight-game winning streak since the start of the season, the loss to second-place Hanwha Life Esports cost them their spot in a tie for first place.

The following is the full transcript of the interview with Head Coach Go Dong-bin and 'Bdd' Gwak Bo-seong.

Q. What is your overall assessment of today's match?

Head Coach Go Dong-bin = It was a tough match, but we came in believing that if we played well, we could win. It's disappointing that we lost.

'Bdd': There were moments where we could have taken the lead, but perhaps because I was nervous, things didn't go as planned.

Q. You could have secured sole possession of first place by winning just one set. Why do you think you lost 0-2.

Head Coach Go Dong-bin = There were overall issues, but if I had to pick one, it's that we failed to capitalize on our power spikes.

Q. (To 'Bdd') Why were you nervous.

'Bdd': Maybe it was because we could take first place if we won. I'm not entirely sure.

Q. It felt like you were outplayed in terms of objective teamfight planning.

Head Coach Go Dong-bin = Once we fell behind, things became difficult in terms of draft and gameplay, but even in situations where we could have had the advantage, we didn't play the way we intended. The opponent was more flexible and played better in objective fights.

Q. Despite today's loss, you finished the first round with an 8-1 record.

Head Coach Go Dong-bin = I believe performance during the playoffs is what matters most, but building up wins early on helps us psychologically. We obviously need to keep improving our performance, but I don't think an 8-1 record is a bad result.

'Bdd': Today's loss is disappointing, but our team's form has been improving, and since the later stages are what matter most, we will refine our play and show a better performance moving forward.

Q. Any final words?

Head Coach Go Dong-bin = It was a very disappointing loss today, but since there is still a long way to go in the regular season, we will keep working hard and return with a more polished performance.

'Bdd': We're only about halfway through. I'll work hard to ensure we continue to show good performances.
