On the 24th, kt Rolster secured a 2-0 victory against BNK FEARX in the first round of the 2026 LoL Champions Korea (LCK) regular season, held at LoL PARK in Jongno. In an interview with INVEN after the match, Moon 'Cuzz' Woo-chan expressed his relief at the win, stating, "I'm just glad we won. I have no desire to chase an undefeated record. I believe Hanwha Life is the strongest team right now, and I will prepare as thoroughly as possible for them."
Below is the full interview with Moon 'Cuzz' Woo-chan.

Q. How do you feel about today's victory.
'Cuzz' = I'm just very relieved we won again today. BNK FEARX is a very strong team, so we were always cautious, and I'm glad we managed to overcome this major hurdle.
Q. BNK FEARX looked formidable during the LCK Cup, but they are currently 7th in the league. What makes you still consider them a strong team?
'Cuzz' = I tend to judge teams by their performance rather than their standings. I've always felt FEARX plays well, so I've always considered them a tough opponent.
Q. What was your game plan for the pick-ban phase in Game 1?
'Cuzz' = We prepared assuming they wouldn't pick something like Caitlyn. When they pulled it out today, it made things a bit tricky. Once the draft was set, I knew our team's range was shorter, so I approached the game with the mindset that we had to leverage our initiative to snowball quickly.
Q. It seems their first-phase Caitlyn pick was unexpected.
'Cuzz' = I thought that because 'Diable' Nam Dae-geun didn't have many games on the champion, but as expected, pros can play anything.
Q. I'm also curious about the K'Sante pick as your final red-side selection. Did you consider a counter-pick like Vayne?
'Cuzz' = I don't get too involved in the top lane; the player knows that situation best. From a jungler's perspective, since the enemy Xin Zhao's ganking pressure wasn't overwhelming, Vayne could have been a good option for side-lane pressure if the laning phase went well. However, I believe there was a reason for choosing a pick that could handle itself comfortably.
Q. You had a great start in Game 1 but allowed them to catch up. What caused that?
'Cuzz' = We were winning so smoothly up to the third dragon despite the range disadvantage that I think we lacked communication on how to coordinate our setup for the fourth dragon.
Q. How did you manage to close out the game after it became a back-and-forth affair?
'Cuzz' = As the game went on, I realized we couldn't just sit and posture. I changed our playstyle to focus on flanking or aggressively initiating fights.
Q. You were also in a favorable position in Game 2 before giving up momentum in team fights.
'Cuzz' = Honestly, I think we won both games because our mid laner pressured the opponent well. In both games, the jungle matchup was unfavorable early on, but in the first game, I planned my pathing well to get early leads, and in the second, our mid laner secured clear initiative despite having the counter-pick, which accelerated our winning window. I was confident we would win Game 2 if it went late.
Q. You are one step away from an undefeated first round. How do you plan to prepare for your next opponent, Hanwha Life Esports?
'Cuzz' = I'm not obsessed with the record of an undefeated run. I think Hanwha Life is the best team right now, and 'Kanavi' Seo Jin-hyeok is playing exceptionally well. I will prepare thoroughly to face them.
Q. You're on an undefeated streak and sitting in sole possession of first place. What is the biggest change you've felt within the team?
'Cuzz' = We are trying to recall and maintain the memories of when we played well last year. There's no special secret; it's just an atmosphere where everyone works hard. If I had to pick one thing, it's our philosophy of 'work hard when it's time to work, and rest when it's time to rest,' which I think helps the team atmosphere a lot.
Q. Fans have had funny reactions to the cancellation of your team's personal streams, saying things like, "It's okay if you don't stream, just practice more."
'Cuzz' = I didn't know there were reactions like that. (Laughs) But our streaming hours are fixed, and we plan to make up for the missed time later, so the total amount remains the same. It's just the dates that are changing, so I want to tell the fans not to worry too much. Thank you for always supporting us
