Kakao Games Launches PUBG 2025 Integrated Clan Championship with Huge Prize Pool

Kakao Games, Inc. (CEO Han Sang‑woo) announced on July 28 that it is accepting registrations for the “PUBG 2025 Integrated Clan Championship,” developed by PUBG Studio under Krafton, Inc. (CEO Kim Chang‑han) and operated by Kakao Games in Korea.

The tournament—which features a total prize pool of ₩15,000,000—is open to all players affiliated with PUBG clans on either the Kakao or Steam platforms. Interested participants may apply via the SOOP e‑Sports website. Each clan may register up to two teams, and players currently listed on a professional roster are ineligible to compete.

The competition kicks off with clan grouping announcements on August 6. The online qualifiers take place August 9–10, followed by online finals August 16–17. From those rounds, eight teams from Kakao PUBG and eight from Steam PUBG will advance to an in‑person championship on August 23, held at PUBG’s Seongsu Play Arena PC café, vying for the title of ultimate clan champion.

The grand prize for the winning team includes ₩5,000,000 in cash plus four top‑spec gaming monitors from ZOWIE by BenQ.

Kakao Games will livestream the online finals and the in‑person championship. Viewers may participate in live events such as “Guess the Winning Platform” and “Lucky G‑Coin Box Drop” to earn rewards. Additionally, special events will be held by inviting both finalist clan members and general clan users, offering both online and offline experiences.
