
Capcom has raised its annual earnings forecast.
On the 27th, Capcom announced via a press release, "Based on recent earnings trends, we are revising the annual earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2026, announced on May 13, 2025, as follows."
According to the released data, revenue is 190 billion yen Revenue was raised by 2.8% to 195.3 billion yen, operating profit by 3.0% from 73 billion yen to 75.2 billion yen, ordinary profit by 5.9% from 70 billion yen to 74.1 billion yen, and net profit by 6.9% from 51 billion yen to 54.5 billion yen. Compared to the previous year, revenue increased by 15.2%, operating profit by 14.4%, and net profit by 12.5%. Analysts cited the success of 'Resident Evil: Requiem,' released in February 2026, as the primary contributor to these upward revisions in earnings. In fact, Requiem recently officially surpassed 7 million units in sales and is approaching 10 million units at the fastest pace in the history of 'Resident Evil' titles. Meanwhile, Capcom's upward trajectory is expected to continue.
