Ahead of the 21st anniversary of its online FPS game Sudden Attack, Nexon is building anticipation for the celebration with a massive update, including 'UP Together,' a co-op jump mode for up to four players.

Nexon (co-CEOs Kang Dae-hyun and Kim Jung-wook) announced on the 6th that it has released a 21st-anniversary update for its popular online FPS game, Sudden Attack, featuring the new co-op jump content 'UP Together.'

'UP Together' is the latest co-op jump content, following 'Santa's Gift' and 'Bread's Invitation,' and will be available until August 27. Players form teams of up to four to climb to the top of a path destroyed by the 'Gomdolking Virus.' The goal is to defeat the 'Gomdolking,' the boss of the 'Gomdolking Virus Corps,' by navigating jump courses and co-op sections using various structures like wind, portals, and zero-gravity zones, as well as 'Platform Skills' that help teammates move.

The 'UP Together Open Event' will also run until August 27 to celebrate the launch. Players who reach each stage will receive 21st-anniversary themed items in a set order, including the 'TAS Gomdolking Permanent,' 'P90_v2(IS) 21st Permanent,' 'Baby Bread Bag Permanent,' and 'Baby Sugar Bag Permanent.' Those who complete the bonus mission of reaching the destination within the time limit can also obtain the 'Gomdolking Pillow Permanent.'

A variety of web events celebrating the 21st anniversary are also available during the same period. In the '21st Anniversary Medal Combination' event, players combine half-medals obtained from the website with other users to complete them. Completing a medal grants 'Recene Multi-Count,' 'Assault Period Extension Permanent,' and 100k EXP, with a chance to win 'Twin Bluetooth Speakers' and 'Nexon Cash.' The '21-Day Attendance Challenge' rewards players with '1k SP' and 'Secondary Period Extension Permanent' based on their login frequency, and offers 'Supplementary Attendance Tickets' for those who achieve consecutive or group attendance.

The '21st Anniversary Special Exchange Center' will be open until September 3, where players can collect '21st Anniversary Tokens' for rewards. Tokens can be earned through various events, including the '21st Anniversary Weekly Mission,' and can be exchanged for shop rewards like '21st Skin Weapon Permanent' or used to participate in the '21st Anniversary Roulette.' Starting August 20, players can activate the '21st Anniversary Combo Pass' using 100 tokens to earn additional growth rewards.

In-game events are also underway. The '21st Anniversary Eve Burning Event,' running until August 20, offers chances to earn items by completing game missions, with additional rewards like 'AK47(IK) Home Run Permanent,' 200k EXP, and 10 Pass Tickets awarded upon reaching 21 completions. A chat event running until August 9 provides daily rewards such as '2 Permanent Magazines' and 'Recene Multi-Count' whenever players type specific phrases in the in-game global chat.

Benefits for internet cafe users are also available. In the '21-Year-Old Summer, Internet Cafe Party' event running until August 20, players can earn 'Internet Cafe Party Chests' by completing 'Solo' and 'With Friends' daily missions, and 'Internet Cafe Special Chests' for cumulative weekly mission completions. During the same period, the 'My Gun Mart,' which refreshes its item list every 5 minutes, will be open, allowing players to secure My Gun 'Circle,' 'Hunt,' and 'Noble Parts.' A My Gun Coin bonus and a raffle event for the 'Circle Black' firearm will also be held.

Meanwhile, Nexon will host a '2026 Season 3 Sudden Live' broadcast on the official Sudden Attack SOOP channel on August 6 at 8:00 PM. The broadcast will feature a hands-on look at the new update and content, an introduction to the 21st-anniversary events, and a giveaway event featuring surprise coupons, 'Sudden LIVE Containers,' 'Sudden LIVE Keycards,' and '5k Nexon Cash' raffle tickets.
