NC will debut a previously unannounced title on the eve of Gamescom 2026, revealing its official title through a trailer.
On the 6th, NC (co-CEOs Kim Taek-jin and Park Byung-moo) announced that it will participate in Gamescom 2026, the world's largest gaming event, which kicks off in Cologne, Germany, on August 26, to showcase its global lineup of new games.
The most anticipated entry is an unannounced project currently known by the development codename 'Project Bonfire.' The game will make its first appearance on stage at Opening Night Live (ONL), the event's eve showcase. During the presentation, NC will reveal the game's official title via a trailer and introduce its core concepts and features. The company plans to release further information sequentially following the announcement; a teaser for the ONL presentation is already available on the official NC YouTube channel.
NC will present a total of three titles at ONL, including Project Bonfire, Aion 2, and CINDER CITY.
Aion 2 is set to launch its global service starting with Early Access on September 30. Founder's Packs, which include access to the Early Access period, are currently on sale, and NC aims to use Gamescom to expand its reach to global users and build anticipation ahead of the launch.
CINDER CITY, an open world cinematic third-person shooter currently in development, will debut a new trailer at ONL that highlights the game's setting. Since opening its Steam page in July, the team has been actively communicating development updates with global users.
Meanwhile, Guild Wars 3, a PC and console title currently in development by NC's North American studio, ArenaNet, will be featured in the B2B area. Guild Wars 3 has been making appearances at global gaming shows since its initial reveal at Summer Game Fest 2026 this past June.
