'Modern Warfare 4,' one of the most anticipated FPS titles for the second half of the year, participated in Fanatics Fest to host its first-ever in-game demonstration.
On the 16th (local time), Activision participated in Fanatics Fest in New York with 'Modern Warfare 4,' developed by Infinity Ward, to hold the first large-scale demonstration based on the 'Kill Block' map. The Kill Block map is inspired by stadiums that change structure based on their intended use, and it is characterized by a layout that shifts every round.

This demonstration marked the first public reveal of Modern Warfare 4's multiplayer gameplay, providing a detailed look at the main menu, in-game operators, and weapons. Notably, a South Korean female soldier wielding a highly realistic K2 rifle was also spotted.
Participants in the demo generally gave positive feedback regarding the realistic weapon depictions and smooth gunplay, despite it being an alpha build. Infinity Ward also demonstrated a player-friendly approach by acknowledging user complaints from the alpha build and promising improvements, such as adjustments to smoke effects.

On the same day, a collaboration with the automotive brand Aston Martin was announced. An Aston Martin-based "Dreadnought" vehicle is set to appear in Modern Warfare 4 and the new Warzone. Infinity Ward introduced the vehicle, stating, "The Dreadnought is not just an SUV; it is a mobile fortress. Capture objectives and push through enemy fire. Equipped with a powerful V12 engine, it is the most aggressive 4WD vehicle in Modern Warfare 4."
Modern Warfare 4, which showcased the Kill Block map at Fanatics Fest, is the latest installment in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare series, published by Activision and developed by Infinity Ward. It is scheduled for a simultaneous worldwide release on October 23, 2026, and has garnered significant attention from domestic and international players for its depiction of the Second Korean War.
