Capcom has released detailed information on 'Yasmine,' the first DLC character for Year 4 of 'Street Fighter 6.' Following the reveal of her participation and combat style in a gameplay trailer last month, this update provides the first in-depth look at her move set, character background, outfits, and Super Arts. Yasmine will join the game in an update on August 3.

According to the reveal, Yasmine is a rushdown character who utilizes the traditional Filipino martial art of Eskrima and a karambit dagger. Her core system is 'Bayani Mode,' which triggers an enhanced state upon landing specific moves, significantly boosting the performance and combo potential of follow-up attacks. Key moves such as 'Alon' and 'Talim ng Hangin' are directly linked to activating Bayani Mode, enabling combos that utilize enhanced launcher, bound, and knockdown effects.

The Super Arts lineup has also been unveiled. Level 1 'Hiwa ng Kalangitan' is designed as an anti-air and counterattack move with invincibility frames, activating Bayani Mode upon impact. Level 2 'Nakatagong Lakas' allows players to maintain Bayani Mode for a set duration while using enhanced ultimate skills, including the exclusive dash move 'Linya ng Liwanag' and empowered OD moves. Level 3 'Pamumukadkad ng Sampaguita' is a finishing move that charges energy for a powerful strike.

Character background details were also shared. Yasmine grew up learning martial arts from her grandfather alongside her brother, but gave up fighting after her brother went missing. She eventually began her journey again after stumbling upon a video of a French supermodel, and her story follows her travels across the world in search of her lost brother. Her second outfit features a school uniform concept, which can be unlocked by maximizing affinity (acquisition gauge) in the newly added 'Avatar Arcade' or by purchasing it with Fighter Coins.

Alongside the Yasmine update, Capcom announced that it will implement balance adjustments for all characters to mark the start of Year 4. Detailed patch notes will be released just before the update. Yasmine will be available immediately upon release for owners of the Year 4 Character Pass and Ultimate Pass.
