Webzen (CEO Kim Tae-young) is holding a character name reservation event for its PC MMORPG 'R2 (Reign of Revolution)' ahead of the Open Reboot server reset.

The Open Reboot server is a periodically reset server that offers higher EXP and Silver acquisition rates than standard servers, allowing for faster character progression.

Players can reserve their character names by logging into their R2 account until midnight on the 15th. Completing the reservation also grants various benefits for use on the Open Reboot server.

Participants will receive a Character Appearance Change Certificate in their R2 Inventory, along with the opportunity to purchase several support items for free from the Open Reboot server's Wshop, including a time-limited Training Girl Transformation Necklace and Battle Draco Ring.

Key changes coming to the Open Reboot server on the 18th were also announced. The EXP required for character and guild level ups has been significantly reduced, and EXP from daily quests and the fusion success rates for Epic and Legend grade Servants have been increased to facilitate faster growth.

Additionally, the Integrated Supply Center has been renewed to offer new rewards such as Gaius' Earring and Level Jumping Scrolls. Players can also earn special rewards based on milestones reached after level 95, ranging from increased Servant fusion rates to skill points.

The 'Level Up Race' event, which challenges players to reach the highest level, has been expanded to four rounds. Rewards for top-level achievers have been further enhanced, adding high-end gear like the 'Enraged Ifrit's Treasure Chest' and 'Grichentel's Sun Accessory Set' to the existing tiered ranking rewards.

Furthermore, cumulative login time rewards have been improved, mission events have been expanded, and content from the 2026 major update is scheduled to be previewed first on the Open Reboot server.
