Hanwha Life Esports extended its dominant run in the 2025 LCK regular season by matching the organization’s longest winning streak since entering the league in 2018. Victories over OKSavingsBank BRION and DRX pushed the club’s streak to 11 consecutive matches, equaling the mark set by the GE Tigers/ROX Tigers. After dropping their opener to Gen.G, Hanwha Life rallied with nine straight wins before sweeping BRION 2-0 on May 9. Tight early skirmishes gave way to decisive team fights after the 25-minute mark in both games. Two days later, the squad overwhelmed DRX 2-0, posting a 22–9 kill advantage in Game 1 and surviving a key mid-game Baron contest in Game 2 to seal its milestone victory. One more triumph in Week 7 will set a new organizational record for consecutive LCK wins.

Meanwhile, T1 climbed into sole possession of third place behind a milestone performance from Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok. After an even 1–1 start to the split, T1 secured its fourth straight win by dispatching Dplus KIA. In a mid-week matchup against DRX on May 8, Faker became the oldest player in league history to claim a pentakill, executing five rapid eliminations as Ahri for the first time since January 2015. Two days later, his opening Azir outing against Dplus KIA yielded three kills, no deaths and five assists, propelling him past 5,500 career assists—another league first.

Week 6 also showcased two additional pentakills. BNK FEARX’s Nam "Diable" Dae-geun recorded his inaugural five-kill sequence on Jinx in Game 3 versus OKSavingsBank BRION, cleaning up a chaotic mid-lane clash. On May 11, Nongshim RedForce jungler Kim "GIDEON" Min-seong delivered his first pentakill on Pantheon, becoming the third LCK jungler ever to achieve the feat during a decisive assault on BRION’s Nexus.

With three pentakills and two clubs on historic runs, Week 6 underlined both individual brilliance and team consistency across the LCK.
