Gen.G has suffered another defeat, following yesterday's loss.

It was a disappointing result, as the team failed to secure a single win at the LCK roadshow, 'House of Gen.G.' Beyond the losses themselves, the team's performance was lackluster. Much like in yesterday's match against T1, the team appeared helpless, and their lack of coordination was a far cry from the Gen.G we are accustomed to seeing. Below is the full transcript of the interview with Gen.G Head Coach Yoo Sang-wook and 'Kiin' Kim Gi-in.

Q. What is your overall assessment of today's match?

Head Coach Yoo Sang-wook: It’s disappointing that we lost both Games 1 and 2 without really being able to execute anything.

'Kiin' = We started at a disadvantage, and I think the reason for our loss was that we didn't try to make any plays to turn things around.

Q. What do you see as the specific reasons for the loss?

Head Coach Yoo Sang-wook: There were moments where we were too passive, and we missed many of the opponent's mistakes. In Game 1, our pick-ban was also a bit ambiguous. It felt like our in-game communication wasn't smooth, either.

'Kiin' = Every champion has a specific role to play, and we failed to execute those roles properly.

Q. Did the unique situation of playing back-to-back matches on Friday and Saturday have an impact? The team hasn't seemed to recover at all since the EWC.

Head Coach Yoo Sang-wook: While I do think time was tight, that isn't the reason we lost.

'Kiin' = It’s true that we were physically short on practice time. However, there hasn't been a major meta shift, so we simply lost because we played poorly.

Q. What are your thoughts on the next patch?

'Kiin' = Since we'll have to adapt to the meta changes, I think we need to approach it with a fresh mindset. If we can adapt to the new meta, I believe we can perform well again.

Q. You finished 0-4 at House of Gen.G. The atmosphere seems poor; can you bounce back from this quickly?

Head Coach Yoo Sang-wook: It’s very disappointing and frustrating. We are aware of the issues internally, and we will do our best to address them as soon as possible and prepare well for the remainder of the season.

'Kiin' = We lost 0-2 for two consecutive days. I apologize to the fans. We need to fix our problems as quickly as possible and return with a better performance.
