On the 26th, Nimble Neuron added the 89th new character, 'Cliver,' to the PC game 'Eternal Return.'

'Cliver' is a character defined by a pistol imbued with the lingering thoughts of various humans. The backstory describes a sentient entity born from death, curses, negativity, and lingering attachments that has possessed a gun, bringing bloodshed whenever someone appears in the chaos to wield it.

In combat, Cliver appears as a ranged character using a pistol as a weapon. Capable of serving as both a skill-based damage dealer and a ranged damage dealer, the core gameplay involves pressuring enemies by continuously consuming ammunition, then suppressing them with a powerful skill when only one bullet remains.

Key skills include 'Double Tap,' which fires two consecutive bullets in a target direction to deal damage; 'Sweep Kick,' which deals skill damage to enemies within a rotating range; and 'Combat Roll,' which allows the character to dash in a target direction while dealing damage. Cliver also possesses 'Showdown!,' which holds airborne enemies in place while unleashing a barrage of fire.

Alongside the new character, content and system improvements have been implemented. Nimble Neuron has added four new emotes and a new skin, 'Heart-Fluttering Coraline.' Other updates include a revamp of the UI for target and alternative item recommendations, changes to the character rotation for new users, and adjustments to the temporary safe zone phase.

A play event is also being held in conjunction with the update, allowing users to earn 'Cliver' emotes. Pre-registration for the 3rd Anniversary Festival, scheduled for early July, has also begun.
