Smilegate announced on Friday the 12nd that 'Epic Seven,' a mobile turn-based strategy RPG developed by Super Creative, has added a new hero, 'Prelude of Dawn Ludwig.'

Ludwig of the Dawn Prelude is the last survivor of the 'Night Clan' who appears as an ally to the protagonist, Ras, in the ongoing Episode 6, 'Requiem of the End.' While preparing for a journey to mourn his fallen kin, he is summoned by Ras and joins the adventure to investigate the secret society known as the 'Order of the Black Grail.'

As a 5-star Ice-element Ranger, he is characterized by his ability to use the 'Dawn' buff to rapidly acquire 'Souls,' which he can then consume to deal massive damage to all enemies.

'Dawn' is activated when using his 3rd Skill, 'White Night,' which increases his Soul acquisition by 100% and grants a chance to stun enemies after attacking. Upon use, 'White Night' not only activates 'Dawn' but also dispels two buffs from all enemies and inflicts debuffs to reduce their combat effectiveness. Additionally, it grants him a shield, enhancing his survivability.

His 1st Skill, 'Moonlight,' allows him to follow up with 'Light of Condemnation' if he is in the 'Dawn' state when attacking an enemy. 'Light of Condemnation' consumes all held Souls to attack all enemies, with damage increasing significantly in proportion to the number of Souls consumed.
