Clouded Leopard Entertainment has released a demo for the fantasy life simulation game 'Moonlight Peaks' on the Nintendo eShop starting June 11, with pre-orders opening simultaneously.

Developed by the Dutch studio Little Chicken Game Company, Moonlight Peaks is set to launch on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. The official release date is July 9, 2026, with Clouded Leopard Entertainment co-publishing the title alongside XSEED Games.

Moonlight Peaks is set in a mysterious town inhabited by various supernatural residents, including werewolves, witches, and merfolk. Players take on the role of a vampire who sets out on a journey to prove to their skeptical father that even the "Undead can live a life full of compassion," building friendships with the creatures of the night and perhaps even finding fated love along the way.

The core of the game involves renovating a 'haunted' cabin left by family into a gothic-style home. Players use their eternal life to unlock hidden abilities, brew potions, and expand their repertoire of Magic. The main goal is to uncover the secrets of the town's seven families and restore light to this spooky yet charming village. Just don't forget to return to your coffin before the sun rises.

The demo allows players to experience basic content such as Character creation, mini-games, and social interactions with residents, offering a glimpse into the peaceful vampire life awaiting them in the full game. The recently revealed 'J-Anime Style' is also available in the demo. This additional content replaces character portraits with new illustrations by Japanese artists such as Oguchi and T-TRACK. The demo is available only for the Nintendo Switch version (though it can also be played on the Switch 2), and save data will not carry over to the full version.

Benefits are also available for those who pre-order. To celebrate the launch, the standard digital edition, the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition digital version, and the Switch 2 Edition upgrade pass will be available at a 15% discount until 23:59 (local time) on July 15.

The standard physical and digital editions are priced at ₩48900 each, while the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition physical and digital versions are ₩54800 each. The Switch 2 Edition upgrade pass for existing standard edition users is available for ₩7400. The game supports single-player mode and is rated for ages 12 and up. Subtitles are available in six languages, including Korean, Traditional and Simplified Chinese, Japanese, English, and German.
