Smilegate announced on the 27th that it has updated additional content for the dark fantasy roguelike RPG 'Chaos Zero Nightmare', including the new story 'A Girl's Nightmare' for Galactic Disaster Season 3.

The newly released story is the second part of Season 3, 'The Song Resounding in the Galaxy'. The story depicts the revelation of secrets surrounding the main character, 'Adelheid,' during the investigation of suspicious incidents occurring on the Edenity. 'Adelheid,' the protagonist of the story, has also been added as a new combatant. As a 'Vanguard' class with the Void attribute, she is a defensive combatant who gains shields by granting 'Blessings' to allied cards. Her partner, 'Clara,' updated alongside her, increases the defense of the assigned combatant and provides fixed healing when using Blessing cards granted by the assigned combatant. With the opening of the new story, the first half of the 'Great Rift' content begins, and the second supply shop opens, allowing players to obtain various rewards such as 'Omega Codes.' The restriction requiring the use of save data from the current season has been removed for 'Great Rift,' expanding the options for save data, and using season save data grants additional points. Season 2 of the 'Total War' content, where players form three teams to hunt bosses, has also begun. The key is to strategically deploy combatants according to each boss's characteristics, and Crystals and growth resources are awarded as rewards. System improvements have also been implemented. In the roguelike content 'Exposition,' special effects given to randomly selected combatants have been enhanced, making strategic utilization crucial. An auto-battle function has been introduced for 'Chaos' gameplay, and a new Core has been added that allows players to edit equipment from acquired save data. Smilegate is also holding an event to commemorate the update. Two events where players can defeat monsters with the new combatant 'Adelheid' and acquire various Cores and Crystals, which are currencies used for editing save data, will be held until June 17, and the 'Sortie Operation Support' event, where players earn rewards by playing 'Sortie,' will also run until June 22. "We expect the Season 3 story to become even more three-dimensional and exciting with this update," said Kim Ju-hyung, Head of Department at Smilegate. "We are also continuously working to enhance the game's completeness, including the introduction of Chaos Auto-Battle and improvements to the sortie system."
