Netmarble announced on the 27th that it has released a major update for its mobile action RPG, 'Monster Quest: STAR DIVE.'

This update introduces a new 5-star character, 'Narae.' As the younger sister of the nine-tailed fox priestess 'Mina,' Narae is an ice-attribute support character who uses water droplets to attack enemies and protect allies. She possesses a special skill called 'Urojieun' that grants teammates a shield and a damage-increase effect. Netmarble is also hosting a three-week special event for Narae, offering rewards such as story content and a decorative profile LIVE background.

A new weekly content mode, 'Legendary Monster Subjugation,' has also been added, featuring 'Reginula' as the first legendary monster. Players must organize three teams to participate in battle, earning points by dealing high damage or countering specific attack patterns. Additionally, a new region, 'Muwon,' and Episode 6, 'Flowers Blooming Amidst the Scars,' have been opened. The new region features 21 new types of monsters, including the original boss monster 'Jeokyeong,' as well as new Monster Rings. Based on player feedback, several quality-of-life improvements have been implemented, including enhanced Monster Ring filters, an auto-basic attack feature for the PC version, and improvements to the dismantling system.

'Monster Quest: STAR DIVE' is the successor to the 2013 title 'Monster Taming,' featuring characters built on Unreal Engine 5 and a real-time tag-play system based on a three-person party. Netmarble plans to hold its first pop-up store at Starfield Hanam from June 3 to June 7.
