DK’s performance was highlighted by Choi 'Lucid' Yong-hyeok, who put on a stellar display, finishing both games 1 and 2 with an impressive zero-death record.

After the match, 'Lucid', who was named Player of the Match (POM), said, "We were on a three-game losing streak, so I'm thrilled to have broken it with a strong performance and to have received the POM award on top of that."

When asked how the team managed to turn the atmosphere around after the three-game skid, 'Lucid' replied, "I think we've been improving little by little since yesterday by reflecting on our own shortcomings." Regarding the opponent's decision to field rookies in the jungle and bottom lane, he added, "When I heard 'Ttoive' was starting, I knew he was a strong solo queue player, so I made sure to stay focused and play carefully."

On the Jarvan IV vs. Xin Zhao matchup in Game 1, he said, "I'm confident in either side of that matchup. Things went well early on, and I think our team composition was better, which helped us snowball." He added, "I didn't expect such a large lead early in the game. I'm proud that we were able to execute that well on stage."

When asked about his performance on Skarner in Game 2, 'Lucid' shared his thoughts: "Skarner appeared in the LPL first, and they were using him a bit differently. Once we adapted that, it turned out to be a really strong champion. I plan to bring him out again from time to time."

Dplus KIA is now set to face Hanwha Life Esports. 'Lucid' expressed his determination, saying, "At the EWC yesterday, we won comfortably once we started playing our usual draft from the second game onward. I didn't play well in the first round, but I'm going to win this time."
