Curve Games and No Brakes Games have launched Human Fall Flat on Nintendo Switch 2, bringing five levels to Nintendo players that were previously unavailable on the original Switch.
According to a release, the new version of the physics-based puzzle platformer included Dockyard, Museum, Hike, Candyland and Test Chamber, alongside existing stages such as Castle, Aztec and Water.
The companies also said the Nintendo Switch 2 edition would receive future console level updates as they are released. That includes Steampunk Party, along with the recently launched Viking level, which featured Dave the Diver.
Originally released in 2016, Human Fall Flat has sold more than 58m units across PC, console, mobile and VR, according to the release. The title supports solo play and online multiplayer for up to eight players.
The Switch 2 version also added platform-specific features, including mouse controls, GameChat support through the console’s built-in microphone and GameShare functionality. According to the release, GameShare enabled Switch 2 owners to share the new exclusive levels with friends using Nintendo Switch.
Human Fall Flat’s Nintendo Switch 2 edition launched digitally for £15.99, while existing Nintendo Switch owners were offered an upgrade path for £3.99.
In a statement, Rich Keen, VP of Publishing at Curve Games, said: “We are delighted to bring Human Fall Flat to the Nintendo Switch 2. Players of this enhanced edition will enjoy brilliant new features such as GameChat and GameShare, experience five levels previously unavailable to play on Switch and will be kept up-to-date with all new levels as soon as they land on consoles.”
Human Fall Flat continued to expand ahead of sequel
The Nintendo Switch 2 launch marked the latest platform expansion for the franchise as No Brakes Games continued development on Human Fall Flat 2.
Curve Games, a London-based publisher owned by Nazara Technologies, has kept supporting the original title with new content updates years after its debut. According to the release, the company’s catalogue also included titles such as For The King, Bomber Crew and Lawn Mowing Simulator.
That long-tail support has helped Human Fall Flat remain one of indie gaming’s more durable commercial successes, with the new Switch 2 edition aimed at keeping parity with the game’s wider console playerbase.
