DRX’s pro gamer Shin "Leshar" Moon-sup has made new history in the world of fighting-game esports. On June 15, Korea Standard Time, he claimed the championship in the Street Fighter 6 division at CEO 2025 in Orlando, USA. CEO—short for Community Effort Orlando—is widely regarded, alongside EVO and Combo Breaker, as one of the world’s “big three” fighting-game tournaments.
With this victory, Leshar achieved back-to-back wins at premier Capcom Pro Tour events, following his triumph at Combo Breaker 2025 in May. No competitor in history has ever strung together two consecutive CPT Premier titles before.
Earlier in March, at Capcom Cup 11, Leshar placed third—securing his qualification for the Esports World Cup (EWC), set for August in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Additionally, his Combo Breaker 2025 win guarantees him a spot at Capcom Cup 12, scheduled for March 2026.
A total of 837 players entered Street Fighter 6 at CEO 2025. Leshar swept through the group stage undefeated, advancing to the top 8. In the winners’ bracket, he defeated China’s Zhen and South Korea’s NL, earning a direct berth in the Grand Final.
There, NL—who had fought his way up through the losers’ bracket—faced Leshar again. In the double-elimination Grand Final, Leshar dropped the first set, allowing NL to force a bracket reset. In the decisive match, however, he prevailed in a full five-game showdown, winning 3–2 to lift the champion’s trophy.
Yang Sun-il, CEO of DRX, stated that Leshar has made history as the first competitor to capture back-to-back CPT Premier titles, firmly establishing DRX at the pinnacle of the global scene. He added that the organization will keep cultivating champions who draw worldwide attention and drive the next era of international esports.
