Deft's Chinese Fans Donate and Plant 1,023 Trees In the Desert Regions of China

On November 15, news surrounding Deft began circulating in the Chinese League of Legends community.

According to Deft's mother on Twitter, Deft's fans in China donated 1,023 trees to a region that is suffering from desertification. Although the Chinese fans have carried out acts of good will for League of Legends players in the past, Deft is the first LCK player to have received such an honor from them.

"This will provide a lot of new job opportunities and slow down the desertification in China," Deft's mother said. "My son and I would like to sincerely thank you."

Deft and his fans aren't the only ones planting trees this time around. Recently, when Invictus Gaming won the 2018 League of Legends World Championship, IG's support player Baolan promised to plant 8,888 trees in the desert regions of China to celebrate. With the problematic desertification of China, tree planting became a popular way to contribute to society and the environment.
