LOS ANGELES (October 25th, 2018) -- The Los Angeles Gladiators have made the
first roster signings of the offseason with the acquisition of Gui-un “Decay” Jang and
Chang-hoon “rOar” Gye. The two played together on KongDoo Panthera in Korean
Contenders.

As the new main tank for the Gladiators, rOar is known for his play on Reinhardt and
Winston. He joins off-tanks Aaron “Bischu” Kim and former Kongdoo teammate Jun-woo
“Void” Kang on the front line.

Decay will be bringing his notable Tracer, Genji, and Zarya to the Gladiators, adding to
the DPS lineup of João Pedro “Hydration” Goes Telles and Lane “Surefour” Roberts. He
is currently 17 and will be eligible to play for the Gladiators after his birthday on
February 27th, 2019.

“We're really glad for rOar and Decay to join us. ROar is an experienced main tank
player and has steadily climbed in Korean Contenders. His ability to lead the team will
help Gladiators reach the top level. Decay is considered one of the young DPS
prodigies in Korea. He will fit very easily into our DPS lineup with his deadly mix of high
mechanical prowess, calling, and flexibility. Having him gives us a lot more options
against the top teams in the league,” says head coach David “dpei” Pei.

“I’m very happy with these new players. We’ve acquired two of the most talented
players in the market this offseason. ROar’s experience make him a contender for one
of the best main tanks in the league, while Decay is one of the rising DPS stars and will
add more flexibility to our team,” adds Charlie Lipsie, Director of Esports.

The Gladiators ended Season 1 strong, finishing 4th overall in the inaugural season of
