On the 11th of October, Gen.G Esports made an announcement that former NBA Star, Chris Bosh, will become the official player management advisor for the organization. As the advisor, Bosh will mentor the organization's many teams and players, helping the players deal with the pressure of having to play on the big stage.

Chris Bosh started his career by being drafted with the 4th overall pick of the 2003 NBA Draft by the Toronto Raptors. On his next team, the Miami Heat, Chris Bosh won two NBA Championships. In 2008, Bosh competed in the 2008 Olympic Games that was held in Beijing, where he won the gold medal with his national team.

Bosh isn't the first NBA player to become a part of esports; Echo Fox's Rick Fox and Jared Jeffries came beforehand. With his extensive experience and sports background, fans are looking forward to how Bosh will affect Gen.G Esports and its players.
