Former LoL Support, Zero Officially Becomes the Coach of WE

The former WE Support, Yoon “Zero” Kyung-sup is now starting his second League career.

On May 23rd, using their Weibo account, WE has officially announced that Zero made a contract to become the coach of the team. This LPL team is now composed of two Korean coaches; Zero and Chae “ViNylCat” Woo-cheol.

Zero, was having a hard time getting a spot in the starting lineup. “I didn’t have the chance to perform in tournaments. My reflexes were decreasing, so I decided to become a coach.” He added, “It is a pity to end my 5-6 year career. But to think of it, it was quite a long time. Coaches have a lot of things to do. To be frank, I’m not that confident yet.”

This former LoL pro also shared his thoughts about WE’s performance. “Last split, WE didn’t have a ‘key’ player. Condi wasn’t able to play because of personal issues. Ben wasn’t in a good shape as well. However, the Summer split will be different; now the players are back. Condi is going to return and Ben has now recovered his solo queue score.”

“The team has signed new members and now we’ve become stronger. We’ll show good performance next split and try our best to qualify for the Worlds. I hope the fans will show support.”

Zero also gave a short word to his former teammate, Uzi by saying, “Let’s go Uzi!”

Meanwhile, WE signed a new Korean player - The ADC, Gu “Imp” Seung-bin has joined the team, getting ready for the LPL Summer split.
