Overwatch League signs sponsor deal with T-Mobile and Mondelez International

Overwatch League has announced that they are signing a new sponsor partnership via Business Wire, a global press release distribution company.

According to the announcement, the companies that have joined the sponsor partnership are T-Mobile, a global telecommunications company, and Mondelez international confectionery company. Notably, T-Mobile will be sponsoring the League long-term by signing a multi-year long contract with the League.

Also, T-Mobile will be the exclusive title sponsor of the Regular Season MVP and Finals MVP awards for the Overwatch League as part of their contract. They will also be providing their customers with votes for the T-Mobile MVP award winners, along with a variety of events, including featured videos relating to the League.

Mondelez will be providing Sour Patch Kids, their company brand products, and thundersticks to the fans coming to the Overwatch League to watch in person, and will provide a service for them to send digital support messages to their favorite teams.

After the regular season took off on January 12th, the Overwatch League started off smoothly with 10 million weekly views on its opening week. The league has gained a lot of attention from global companies and has successfully signed its 4th and 5th sponsorship following the ones with Intel-HP-Toyota.
