On the 23rd of January (KST), Riot games announced via their official homepage that KSV has received a caution penalty.

In game 1 of the Jin Air Green Wings vs KSV match played on the 18th of January, KSV Lee “Crown” Min-ho disconnected from the game during the pick & ban phase. According to the rules (8.1.2 and 9.1.1.8) of the 2018 League of Legends Champions Korea, KSV has received a caution.

One caution doesn’t affect the team, but if any team receives a second caution, the team will be penalized by losing a set score point in the leaderboard. This may cause the team to have trouble in the later part of the season.

In the spring split of 2017, Afreeca Freecs needed to play a qualification match with MVP because of a point penalty due to intentional disconnections. Also, KSV received a penalty point before because of Ruler’s disconnection. This penalty may be a cause for concern in the future.

KSV is currently ranked 1st place with two wins in two matches, and will be playing against Afreeca Freecs on the 25th (KST).

So if the enemy disconnects you get penalised because somehow it's your fault? Or I understood this wrong...

@Marian_Lungu It was intentional, meaning that he simply dodged the champion select. They are not playing on servers when playing LCK games. And if it just disconnected him, they would fix the problem and start champion select again without punishing teams :)
