On Tuesday (KST), Afreeca Freecs announced that they have signed Kim “Kiin” Gi-in. Now, they have completed a stronger roster for the 2018 season.
Afreeca Freecs finished renewing the contracts of Lee “Spirit” Da-yoon, Lee “Mowgli” Jae-ha, Lee “Kuro” Seo-haeng, Ha “Kramer” Jong-hun and Park “TusiN” Jong-ik on the 21st of November. As of this announcement, they have signed coaches Lee “Zefa” Jae-min and Lim “comet” Hye-sung along with top laner Kiin.
Kiin played for Ever8 Winners and showed his potential with his aggressive plays and his unique style. Now that he has signed with Afreeca Freecs, he will be drawing attention in the 2018 season of LCK.
Kiin shared his thoughts on signing with Afreeca Freecs by saying, “I’m happy to play with a great coaching staff and outstanding teammates. I thank Ever8 Winners for giving me a good chance, and I will do my best to make Afreeca Freecs the best team in the 2018 LCK.”
Jang Dong-jun, director of the Afreeca Freecs added his expectations, “With Kiin and the changed coaching staff, we are ready to deliver better results in the 2018 season. We will be supporting the players to be at their best at not just the LCK but in international stages as well.”
