GC Busan, the first Overwatch APEX Royal Roader, joins the Overwatch league.


MARKO, the eSports marketing agency that runs GC Busan and BlossoM, has announced that players and the coach of GC Busan will join the new Overwatch league called London Spitfire.


Since the year of 2017 when the team won the 3rd division PC Bang Competitive Play, GC Busan managed to enter the APEX Season 4 after placing themselves 2nd in the Challengers known as the 2nd division, and eventually became the first Royal Roader by winning the league. The team then claimed another win in the 2017 APAC Premier held in China, becoming the only team with a double.


The players who join the Overwatch league London team are Junyeong “Profit” Park, Dongeun “Hooreg” Lee, Jaehui “Gesture” Hong, Wonsik “Closer” Jung, Hyunwoo “Hagopeun” Cho, and Seunghyun “Woohyal” Sung, along with Chang Geun Park as a manager who will take care of players and strategies.


Meanwhile, MARKO is planning to recruit new members and continue operating GC Busan, and also the eSports league with new teams under various concepts.
