Smilegate announced on November 4 that it is holding various events, including an event island, a capsule draw machine, and attendance rewards, to celebrate the 8th anniversary of Lost Ark's official launch.
Running from November 4 to December 2, the event island 'Spooky Arkland' features the existing 'Arkland' reimagined in a night-opening format. Adventurers follow clues to experience scary stories hidden across the island and complete a bingo board. Each time players complete one line on the bingo board, they receive a 'Chilling Gift Chest' containing random gold and items. Adventurers who complete the entire bingo board will be awarded an '8th Anniversary Balloon' structure and a 'Vya Tube' toy.
The '8th Anniversary Capsule Draw Machine' event, running during the same period, allows players to spend 'Lucky Tokens' collected through gameplay missions. Players draw capsules using tokens to obtain rewards, with additional rewards available based on the cumulative number of draws during the event period.
The '8th Anniversary Special Attendance Event' can also be joined from November 4 to December 2. Players can participate in this event alongside the existing attendance event running through November 11. The '8th Anniversary PC Cafe Party Time' will continue until December 16, providing growth materials based on weekly PC cafe play time. Additional rewards based on cumulative play time during the event period include an 'Ancient Gem Selection Chest', a 'Relic Combat Engraving Selection Pouch', and a 'Core Essence Chest'.
An 8th-anniversary fan kit usable outside the game was also revealed. Designed around the flagship mascot 'Mokoko', it includes folder icons, mouse cursors, tablet wallpapers, and watch faces themed after 'Spooky Arkland'. It can be used to customize PCs and various mobile devices and is available for anyone to download from the official website. All adventurers who log into the game will receive a Stronghold Guestbook Background.
