To begin a new adventure in the Crimson Desert DLC, you should first check your progress on the Greymane Camp expansions. If the initial DLC quest does not appear, you may still have prerequisite quests left to complete. Once you head out to sea, securing a teleportation device to return to your sailboat and a propulsion breathing device to aid underwater movement will make exploration much easier.
We have summarized the quest sequence required to access the DLC, how to craft and equip the sailboat teleportation device, early gathering locations for Glowing Ore, and how to obtain the propulsion breathing device. We also cover the conditions for placing the waiting table at Timberham Sawmill, a step that can easily stall progression.

The main story requirement specified in the DLC guide is completing 'Wolf Hill'. However, to unlock the actual starting quest, 'Into a Wider World', you must also check your progress in the Greymane faction quests.
First, navigate to Faction Quests → Greymane → Haeoreum's Rise and proceed through 'Embers of Return' followed by 'Gathered Will'. 'Embers of Return' covers the 2nd camp expansion, while 'Gathered Will' handles the 3rd camp expansion.
Once you complete the 3rd expansion, Faction Quests → Greymane → Charting the Unknown → Into a Wider World will unlock, allowing you to accept the quest at camp and start your DLC journey. If only 'A New Spark' appears under 'Charting the Unknown', check your camp expansion quests first.

Once you start sea exploration, be sure to open the treasure chest on Auronoi Island. Here, you can obtain the recipe for the Sailboat Teleportation Device, which lets you return to your ship from long distances. Simply travel to the point marked on the northern part of the island on the map below and dig with a shovel to collect the treasure.

Crafting requires a workbench, and the materials needed are 15 Glowing Ores, 5 Azurite, and 10 Iron Ores. Once you get the recipe, gather the necessary materials to build the device.
After crafting, you must equip it to use it. You can equip the Sailboat Teleportation Device via Ship Registry → Ship Management → Equip Gear.

When preparing to craft the Sailboat Teleportation Device, you will need to gather Glowing Ore. Gathering points exist near Auronoi Island, which you visit early on, so it is helpful to check nearby gathering locations while obtaining the recipe.
You can check exact locations on the Crimson Desert Interactive Map. Press 'Hide All' to the right of the marker search, then toggle only 'Sea → Glowing Ore' at the bottom of the list to easily locate gathering spots.
First, check the marked spots around Auronoi Island to collect the 15 required for crafting. Whenever you need additional materials later, you can use the same filter to find gathering points around your current exploration area.

If you are preparing for underwater exploration, be sure to pick up the Propulsion Breathing Device. This equipment increases swimming speed and boosts maximum breath by 600, making it invaluable for exploring underwater.
Your destination is the sea east of Delesyia, marked on the map below. Reach the location via flying mount or swimming, then dive underwater.

Underwater, use nearby structures as landmarks to orient yourself. As you dive deeper, you will see a structure resembling broken railroad tracks on the right and a tower-like structure straight ahead. From this point, look down and search to the left to find another structure.
Approaching that structure will reveal a treasure chest containing the Propulsion Breathing Device.

If you are stuck on placing the waiting table while doing 'The Saw Blade Turns Again' at Timberham Sawmill, check whether you have acquired the required knowledge. To place a waiting table, you must first gain the relevant knowledge by using the book awarded for reaching Reputation Level 1.
You can locate Timberham Sawmill by opening the map and selecting the 'Facilities' tab. Double-click the sawmill, then go to Facilities → Facility List → Contract to proceed.
If you are having trouble finding the waiting table, first verify whether you reached Reputation Level 1 and used the reward book. The key point is that receiving the book as a reward is not enough—you must consume it to learn the knowledge before you can place the item.
