Netmarble (CEO Byung-gyu Kim) announced on November 4 that it has officially launched the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of 'Solo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVE'.
Starting today (November 4), players can purchase the Standard Edition and Deluxe Edition of 'Solo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVE' through each platform's storefront. Players who purchase the Deluxe Edition will additionally receive the Deluxe-exclusive skin 'Sung Jinwoo: Overdrive' and a Cha Hae-in emoji set.
Based on 'Solo Leveling: ARISE', which achieved great success in the global market, 'Solo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVE' is an action game tailored to the expectations of PC and console players. Players can experience features such as co-op combat supporting up to four players, as well as 'Monarch Combat', where they battle in Sung Jinwoo's awakened Monarch form.
In particular, the game maximizes combat controls tailored to console gaming, featuring 'Guard' and 'Parry' to block or deflect enemy attacks, a 'QTE' system that temporarily breaks enemies after a parry, a unique 'Overdrive' system highlighting each Hunter's traits, and a 'Chain Smash' system that maximizes skill combinations.
Meanwhile, 'Solo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVE', which officially launched globally on 'Xbox PC' and 'Steam' on November 25 last year, ranked 8th globally on the Steam Top Sellers chart immediately after release and reached the Top 10 in major Western countries, including 7th in the US and 5th in Germany and France.
