Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Content Agency (GCA) announced that six supported companies will showcase immersive content at the 2026 Digital Media Tech Show (DMTS), held from November 4 to 6. The exhibition will take place for three days in Hall 2 of Exhibition Center 1 at KINTEX in Goyang.
Among the participating companies, five are taking part in the GCA joint pavilion with support for outcome exhibitions. roundground, LAMPERS, OWNS, WReader, and CREATIVE SUMM constitute the joint pavilion, while MOTION PLAN, participating in the distribution support initiative, will operate a separate booth. Visitors can experience Web AR, AI, XR, and immersive video content at each booth.
At the joint pavilion, visitors can encounter content that responds to their actions. roundground's Plabot combines 366 birthday flower character IPs with Web AR technology. Without installing a separate app, users can interact with their own birthday flower character and experience a personalized story. OWNS introduces its Real Touch technology—where videos of people or objects on screen react according to touch direction, speed, and frequency—applied to K-POP artist IP content. It is a technology that transforms conventional video into interactive content, suitable for large touchscreens, photocards, brand marketing, and more.
LAMPERS' exhibit content utilizes AI environment recognition and interactive media to implement spatial digital landmarks. Vision AI reads the site environment to alter advertisement displays in real time and broadcasts the scenery behind the billboard onto the screen, creating a see-through effect. This content has been undergoing verification on large outdoor media at Hyundai Department Store Trade Center Branch since October 19.
Educational and hands-on content for children and families will also be on display. WReader introduces XR and AI content for learning through play and missions, along with its lightweight AR smart glasses, WR Glass. WR Glass combines XR educational content with voice AI, supporting real-time conversational learning via built-in microphones and speakers. WReader also operates a permanent XR experience zone at Korea JobWorld. CREATIVE SUMM presents the immersive 360-degree dome screen animation "Dr. Nyan Meow-It-All - Spinning Solar System". Set against the backdrop of the moon and space, the adventure story nurtures the scientific curiosity and imagination of children and family audiences.
Operating a separate booth, MOTION PLAN will exhibit "Five-Colored Folk Tales Interactive Exhibition", utilizing its traditional folk tale IP "Damso". It is an immersive exhibition that brings traditional folk tale characters to life through XR technologies such as projection mapping and AI drawing, presented to expand the distribution of XR interactive complex cultural spaces.
On-site events will also take place at the GCA joint pavilion booth. Visitors wishing to hold business consultations with participating companies or those following GCA's official Cultural Technology Business social media channels are eligible to participate.
GCA's Cultural Technology Content Production Support and Distribution Support initiatives help content companies in Gyeonggi Province integrate technology into content. The scope of support spans from production and verification to commercialization and domestic/international distribution.
