DreamHack and Activision have announced that tickets for DreamHack Birmingham 2027 and Call of Duty League (CDL) Major II go on sale November 5th at 3 PM GMT, with CDL fan capacity set to double.

According to a release, the three-day DreamHack Birmingham festival returns to the NEC in Birmingham, UK from April 2nd to 4th 2027. The organizers said the CDL crowd will be twice the size of the sold-out 2026 edition. Fans who attended earlier CDL events at DreamHack get a presale on November 4th at 3 PM GMT through the email address tied to their previous ticket purchase.

The CDL is Activision's franchised professional Call of Duty league. CDL Major II will be played on the newly released Modern Warfare 4 and will feature the season's first Pro-Am, with the top four Challengers teams joining the league's 12 franchise teams. Challengers is the competitive circuit that sits below the franchised league.

Ticket prices

Tickets that combine CDL Major II with full festival access start at £139 for CDL General Admission, while CDL Premium Admission, which the release says offers the seats closest to the on-stage action, costs £199. A CDL Care Package add-on is available for £79.

Festival-only three-day tickets start at £89. A Premium 3-Day Festival ticket costs £279 and includes a 2027 event hoodie and t-shirt plus a collector's coin, badge and pin that the release says are ‘not for sale anywhere else’. A three-day kids' ticket for ages 5 to 13 costs £45, and children under 5 get in free. Tickets will be sold through DreamHack's official ticket page.

What else is planned

According to the release, DreamHack Birmingham 2026 brought thousands of fans to the NEC for three days of creators, cosplay, music and gaming, and the event has become known as the ‘Glastonbury of gaming’. Further details on other esports tournaments, special guests and talent appearances will be announced in the coming months, the organizers said.

“Birmingham has quickly become one of the most exciting stops on the DreamHack calendar, and last year's crowd showed just how much energy UK gaming fans bring,” said Shahin Zarrabi, Vice President of Festivals at ESL FACEIT Group (EFG). “For 2027, we're going bigger across the board with more to see, play and experience than ever before.”

Adam Apicella, SVP of Esports at EFG, said: “Birmingham gave us one of the best atmospheres of the CDL 2026 season, and the UK fans made it clear they wanted more so we're delivering on that with double the capacity for next year. More seats, more teams and definitely more beers.”
