Garena officially launched the mobile survival hunting action game Monster Hunter Outlanders on October 29. Through launch celebration events, rewards equivalent to up to 400 recruits, SSR Adventurers, Buddies, and more are being provided.
Monster Hunter Outlanders is a new title licensed and supervised by Capcom and developed by TiMi Studio Group. Available for download on Google Play and the Apple App Store, the game combines unique Adventurers and crafting-driven exploration with the signature hunting gameplay of the Monster Hunter series.
Players can participate in in-game missions and various launch celebration events to earn rewards equivalent to up to 400 recruits. Rewards include SSR Adventurers 'Enshou' and 'Luka', as well as SSR Buddy 'Kojiro'.
An event centered on the new Adventurer 'Midori' is also being held. New content has also been introduced, including 'Nest Hunt', where players challenge monsters across various difficulty levels, and the 'Arena', where players compete on equal terms.
The friend invite event will run until November 30. In the official launch event 'Hunt Bonds', limited titles and stamps will be awarded to all players once the sum of Storm Squad levels across all regions reaches the target.
In the launch video, players can see original Adventurers hunting 'Radiant Species' monsters in new ecosystems, as well as combat scenes featuring the new weapon type, the 'Charge Blade'. The 'Charge Blade' is a weapon that balances offense and defense by switching between sword and axe forms, joining the 7 existing weapon types.
The game adapts the series' iconic weapons and hunting experience to the mobile environment while implementing controls optimized for mobile devices. From launch, controller support is available for select content, including hunting, completing missions, and field exploration, with plans to expand coverage and improve control convenience in the future.
The setting for the adventure, Isolesia Island, features the original Elder Dragon 'Ruger Aidal', whose body radiates light, along with 'Radiant Species' monsters mutated by the island's unique ecology. Players can freely explore the field or form a party of up to four players for co-op hunting.
Together with Buddies such as 'Palico', 'Rutaco', and 'Medley', players can participate in hunting, exploration, and building activities. To celebrate the launch, Garena plans to roll out outdoor advertisements sequentially across major areas in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province—including Gangnam, Pangyo, and Hongdae—alongside official social media events.
Further details on Monster Hunter Outlanders can be found on the official website and official social media channels.
