The G-STAR Organizing Committee (hereinafter "Organizing Committee") has unveiled the participating developers and Steam-linked programs for G-STAR 2026's "Indie Showcase 2.0: Galaxy." The committee announced that a total of 114 companies, including domestic and international partners, will participate.
The online program will focus on the "G-STAR 2026 Special Promotion" page and featured banners on Steam. During the event, games from major exhibitors and indie developers will be featured, allowing users who cannot visit the venue to explore the titles. Detailed information and access links will be provided later through the official G-STAR website and official social media channels.
The in-person Indie Showcase will take place on the 1st floor of BEXCO Exhibition Center 2 in Busan. It will feature top titles selected for "G-STAR Selected Indie," overseas games selected by the European Game Developers Federation (EGDF), as well as playable demos and exhibition content from various partners.
At the Unity Indie Showcase Zone, visitors can play 30 titles built with the Unity engine alongside winning entries from the Unity AI Game Jam. Devolver Digital plans to unveil a special build of an unannounced new game for the first time on-site at G-STAR.
Games by emerging Korean developers selected by RED BRICK HOUSE will also be available for hands-on play. The Polish Institute in Seoul is preparing a showcase that combines a game demo area with an art wall exhibition.
Official hardware partner KOMODO will operate a Steam Deck (STEAM DECK) hands-on zone. Games optimized for the handheld device will be featured, and the Organizing Committee plans to support participating companies in gauging on-site player reactions through new game demos and hardware experiences.
Beyond the Indie Showcase, BEXCO Exhibition Center 2 at G-STAR 2026 will feature new game demo spaces, a gaming culture festival, and Hyundai Motor interactive content focused on sim racing.
