The Halloween season event 'Halloween's Fortune' is currently underway in Lineage Classic. Players can defeat monsters in all areas except ATS zones and the Infinite Battle for a chance to drop Pumpkin Seeds, which can then be exchanged for items at the Witch's Cauldron in Giran Town's central square.

The key reward is Pumpkin Pie, a buff item that increases Damage, Accuracy, and SP by +1 for 20 minutes. The maximum daily amount of Pumpkin Seeds you can earn perfectly matches the daily exchange limit for Pumpkin Pies, meaning that following the proper exchange priority allows you to maximize event gains without wasting a single Pumpkin Seed.

Pumpkin Seeds drop with a set probability when defeating monsters anywhere except ATS zones and Infinite Battle. There is no need to visit specific event hunting grounds; players can simply collect them in their usual hunting spots.

However, Pumpkin Seeds will not drop from every type of kill. They can only be acquired from monsters directly slain by your character, and there is a cap on the daily amount you can collect, so be sure to review the conditions below beforehand.

Players who rely heavily on taming, pets, or summons for hunting should adjust their playstyle during the event so that their character delivers the final kill directly.

Collected Pumpkin Seeds can be exchanged at the Witch's Cauldron in Giran Town's central square. The primary exchange target is the Pumpkin Pie buff item, which grants Melee/Ranged Damage +1, Melee/Ranged Accuracy +1, and SP +1 for 20 minutes upon use.

Each Pumpkin Pie costs 50 Pumpkin Seeds, with a daily limit of up to 10 pies. Exchanging the daily maximum requires 500 Pumpkin Seeds, which exactly matches the daily cap. If you turn all your seeds gathered that day into Pumpkin Pies, nothing goes to waste. Any leftover seeds that don't add up to increments of 50 can be converted into Clear Red Potions, which have no daily exchange limit.

Since daily hunting output varies, there will be days when your Pumpkin Seeds do not land cleanly on multiples of 50. Rather than converting leftover seeds into Clear Red Potions right away, it is better to save them.

Unspent Pumpkin Seeds do not expire during the event. For example, if you gather 480 seeds in a day, you can exchange 9 Pumpkin Pies with 30 seeds left over. Keeping those 30 means you only need 470 seeds the following day to claim all 10 Pumpkin Pies. Focusing strictly on Pumpkin Pies throughout the event and converting any leftover seeds to potions just before it ends ensures you maximize your Pumpkin Pie rewards.
