NetEase Games' mobile street basketball game NBA Dunk City rolled out its Season 2 update on the 28th. Three new players—Tyrese Haliburton, Jimmy Butler, and Brook Lopez—have joined the roster, alongside the addition of Halloween events.
The new players are equipped with distinct offensive and defensive skills. Tyrese Haliburton uses 'Magic Dribble' and 'Magic Layup,' and can boost his perimeter shooting accuracy with his ultimate skill. NetEase Games introduced Haliburton as a point guard returning after a 16-month injury absence.
Jimmy Butler stops opponent attacks with his 'Suffocating Press' and blocking ability, while utilizing post plays and mid-range shots on offense. Brook Lopez possesses 360-degree block coverage and rebounding capabilities, and can also target perimeter scoring with his 'High Arch Shot.'
A login event tied to the Halloween season is also taking place. In 'Halloween Mysterious Journey,' players can log in for a limited time to earn rewards such as limited costumes. From the 30th through November 1, 'Halloween Login Gifts' will be distributed, while 'Lucky Treasure Hunt' will run from the launch of Season 2 through November 10.
The new pass includes the limited costume 'Lone Wolf.' Players can earn 'Superstar Arrival Tickets,' Gold, and Diamonds depending on their pass level, and reaching level 50 allows them to claim one additional player of choice. Additionally, new costumes and a 'Superstar Archive' feature have been added.
Further details on the Season 2 update can be found on the official NBA Dunk City website and community.
