On October 27 KST, an elimination match between Anyone's Legend (AL) and Team Liquid Alienware took place in Round 3 of the 2026 LoL World Championship (Worlds) Swiss Stage at the Credit Union of Texas Event Center in Allen, Texas. In the end, Team Liquid dismantled LPL's No. 1 seed AL with a superior draft and overall performance.
In Game 1, Team Liquid got off to a strong start. A favorable trade by their bot duo led to a dive for first blood, and shortly after, 'CoreJJ' Jo Yong-in's Nami roamed top to grant a kill to 'Morgan' Park Ru-han's Camille. AL caught a breath of fresh air when a gank from 'Tarzan' Lee Seung-yong's Skarner eliminated 'Yeon's Lucian, and they later committed heavy resources to the top lane to cut down Camille as well.
However, objectives proved to be the deciding factor. Securing an early first dragon, Team Liquid quickly built up dragon stacks using their map control. AL was repeatedly dragged into forced teamfights, accumulating losses, and ultimately got aced by Camille's hard engage while trying to defend the Dragon Soul for the second time. Holding a massive gold lead of over 14,000 gold, Team Liquid took Game 1.
Game 2 was much tighter. Team Liquid kicked things off nicely with a solo kill in the top lane while also scoring points in bottom-lane skirmishes. AL countered by accelerating the growth of 'Hope's Jinx, winning consecutive objective fights on the back of 'Shanks's Annie. However, in the crucial Soul fight, Annie was caught out first, creating an opportunity for Team Liquid to claim the Baron.
Team Liquid once again built a significant global gold lead. AL's only hope was a full-build Jinx. However, ahead of the seventh dragon, 'Breathe's Olaf was picked off. Capitalizing on the numerical advantage, Team Liquid secured the Dragon Soul, and in the extended fight that followed, achieved a decisive victory behind Rakan's ultimate coming back off cooldown to wrap up the game.
