Kakao Games Corp. announced on October 26 that it is holding commemorative events offering in-game rewards and physical prizes to mark the 10th anniversary of its mobile puzzle game Friends Popcorn.
Friends Popcorn is a game where players solve puzzle missions to challenge higher-level stages. According to Kakao Games, the game has accumulated over 10 million downloads and more than 13.5 billion total plays since its launch in October 2016.
Players can enter prize drawings using roulette tickets earned by clearing specific stages in the '10th Anniversary Prize Roulette Event,' which runs until October 30. The prize pool includes luxury wallets and scarves, coffee machines, family restaurant meal vouchers, and in-game items. A '10-Day Daily Login Event' granting attendance rewards will also run through November 3.
From November 1 to November 13, a '10th Anniversary Special Popcorn Pass' will take place. Players who reach stage 20 through step-by-step pass missions will receive a 10th anniversary limited profile frame and be automatically entered into a raffle. One randomly selected entrant will receive a luxury bag.
