NC has released an infographic with player statistics for AION 2, its open-world massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG). Players have spent more than 108.2 million hours in the world of Atreia since the game's global launch 18 days ago.
According to a release, AION 2 opened in Early Access on September 30th and launched publicly on October 5th on Steam and PURPLE, NC's own PC platform. The game has passed 400,000 concurrent players, which the release calls ‘one of 2026's biggest surprises.’ The figures in the infographic were collected from September 30th to October 20th.
As Inven Global reported earlier this month, player reviews of the game have been mixed even as its concurrent player count climbed.
Twitch viewers and PvP numbers
AION 2 has drawn more than 35.6 million hours watched on Twitch since Early Access began. Citing Steam Charts, the release says the game was the fourth most-watched title on Twitch from October 5th to 12th.
The game's player versus player (PvP) side, built on the long-running war between the Elyosians and the Asmodians, has logged more than 26.4 million kills. Players have cleared 53.2 million instances and completed 21.1 million party dungeon runs. Urugugu Canyon is the most-cleared dungeon, with nearly four million clears on Normal difficulty alone.
Most popular classes
More than 6.3 million characters have been created so far. Gladiator is the most played class at 17%, followed by Chanter and Sorcerer at 13% each.
Alongside the stats, NC has published a Behind-the-Scenes documentary on YouTube. AION 2 is available now on Steam and PURPLE.
