Bandai Namco Entertainment Korea (Managing Director Tae-keun Jang) announced that the Korean version of ONE PIECE: Grand Gourmet, the latest title based on the ONE PIECE IP, officially launched as a digital-only release for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch on October 22, 2026. Following this, the service will expand across platforms with sequential releases on Steam, the App Store, and Google Play on October 23, 2026.
Developed by Kairosoft, the title is a floating restaurant management simulation where players work alongside the Straw Hat Crew to build the greatest restaurant on the seas. Teaming up with the crew's chef, Sanji, players can prepare iconic dishes from the original series, such as 'Water-Water Meat BBQ' and 'Sea King Penne Gorgonzola'. As players acquire ingredients through exploration to expand their menu, they can craft custom meal sets. Unique dishes utilizing Devil Fruit powers also add to the fun.
The game also features extensive customization options. Players can decorate their restaurant using over 200 types of furniture, structures, and interior decor, including items inspired by locations in the original work—such as dessert-themed Whole Cake Island pieces and futuristic Egghead items. Depending on the interior layout, visiting characters may even become regulars.
More than 400 characters from the original series appear as customers in the game. Satisfying them through food and spatial design turns them into fans, unlocking character interaction content unique to this game.
Alongside the game's release, a launch trailer featuring rap by rapper KOPERU was released, along with a comment from the original creator, Eiichiro Oda. Detailed information about ONE PIECE: Grand Gourmet can be found on the official Bandai Namco Entertainment Korea website.
