As AGF 2026, Korea's largest anime and game festival, prepares to open on December 4, the list of major sponsors participating in the event has been revealed. This year, five companies—Galaxy Store, SOOP, Elementa, MEGABOX, and Cultureland—will participate as sponsors to present a variety of on-site programs.
First, global mobile content platform Galaxy Store is joining AGF for the second consecutive year. Last year, Galaxy Store operated the "Galaxy Store Refresh Zone," offering visitors a place to rest along with Wi-Fi and mobile phone charging services. This year, it plans to set up a total of three Refresh Zones inside the venue so visitors can relax and charge their phones.
Live streaming platform SOOP is participating in AGF for the first time this year. On-site, it will host meet-and-greets where SOOP virtual streamers can meet fans in person, along with merchandise sales and interactive fan events. SOOP is preparing various programs so attendees can meet virtual streamers offline whom they usually watch through online broadcasts.
Global game developer and publisher Elementa is also making its first appearance at AGF, showcased by its new title Silver Palace. Having surpassed 15 million global pre-registrations, Silver Palace is an open-world detective adventure action RPG set in Silvernia, a Victorian-style city developed around "liquid silver." Players step into the shoes of a detective, exploring all corners of the city to uncover hidden secrets. AGF marks the first domestic offline event for Silver Palace, featuring game demos, interactive detective experiences, special stage presentations, and limited-edition merchandise designed to let visitors experience the game's world firsthand.
Multiplex cinema chain MEGABOX is listed as an AGF sponsor for the third consecutive year. MEGABOX has previously drawn strong fan interest at AGF by hosting advance screenings and re-screenings of various anime works. This year, it will host special screenings and various events at the MEGABOX KINTEX branch. Specific film titles and schedules will be announced later on the official MEGABOX and AGF websites and social media channels.
Culture content platform Cultureland is also joining as a sponsor this year. Cultureland provides payment services through Cultureland Gift Certificates and Culture Cash that can be used across various fields, including games, digital content, and shopping. At this event, it will distribute Cultureland Gift Certificates as prizes for on-site events to offer various benefits to attendees.
Meanwhile, AGF 2026 will take place for three days from Friday, December 4 to Sunday, December 6 at KINTEX Exhibition Center 1 in Ilsan. As an event bringing together a wide range of subculture content centered on anime and games, this year's festival will feature participation from numerous companies along with various exhibition and hands-on programs.
