Kakao Games announced on September 18 that it is hosting festive events across its major titles, including 'Oneuldou Hodoo', 'ArcheAge War', 'Kakao BATTLEGROUNDS', 'Friends Popcorn', and 'Friends Town', in celebration of the Chuseok holiday.
In the casual brain training game 'Oneuldou Hodoo', new spatial cognitive training content titled 'Fruit Link' will be added on September 22. Players who log in between September 24 and 27 will receive in-game items.
'Oneuldou Hodoo' is a game developed by Beluga, a startup specializing in cognitive measurement and digital therapeutics. It allows users to train five core cognitive domains—memory, attention, executive function, language, and spatial ability—while tracking their personal progress.
The PC and mobile MMORPG 'ArcheAge War' is holding the 'Giant Full Moon' event through September 30, where players can exchange 'Full Moon Shards' acquired through hunting for various rewards. Logging in between September 24 and 27 will grant a gift pack once per account, consisting of 20 Mysterious Summon Ticket Selection Boxes, 2,000 Seals of the Chronicler, and 1 Hora Mount Training Manual. Starting September 23, the game will also run an 'Abundance-Filled 14-Day Attendance Check' event.
The PC battle royale game 'Kakao BATTLEGROUNDS' will host the 'Hangawi Cumulative Attendance Check' and 'Hangawi Point Shop' events from September 21 to October 18. Playing for 20 minutes a day completes attendance, and players can earn in-game items or exchange points for rewards through cumulative logins and playtime. A 'Chuseok Writing Contest', where players can leave a two-line acrostic poem using 'Chu' and 'Seok' in the comments of the event announcement, will run until October 5.
'Friends Popcorn' and 'Friends Town' will run an event from September 24 to 27 that grants a chance to receive bonus items upon purchasing gems. Starting September 24, players will also be able to encounter Friends characters dressed in traditional Chuseok costumes in-game.
