Nexon announced on September 18 that it has applied a Union system revamp update to its mobile MMORPG 'MapleStory M'.
Through this update, the method of acquiring Union stats has been changed from filling grid spaces on the combat map to directly allocating points to desired stats.
Open Job Advancement is also now available for characters level 200 and above. Characters across all job branches can change to their desired job, and characters undergoing Open Job Advancement will receive rented equipment matching the stats of their new job, at a power level equivalent to their previous gear.
Quality-of-life improvements have also been implemented. A 'Combat Power Guide' has been introduced, allowing players to check accessible boss lists based on their Combat Power and explore ways to increase it. Other changes include permanent unlocking of Pocket Slots, the removal of Buff Freezers, bulk crafting of Soul items, an increased holding limit for 'Sol Erda', and expansions to default inventory and storage slots.
Nexon is running the 'Exciting Super Week' event from September 24 through October 5. A new Hot Time event will take place, supporting the acquisition of Magnificent Souls and the enhancement of Level 5+ HEXA Main Stats. Starting October 1, Nexon will sequentially roll out events celebrating the game's 10th anniversary, including a '10th Anniversary Shop' and a '10th Anniversary Countdown Check-in Event'.
Additionally, the 'Lady Blair's Dream Express' event will run from October 1 to November 11. During the event period, players can transfer items such as outfit cosmetics, pets, and mounts to other characters within the same world.
