The Taipei Computer Association (TCA) announced on the 15th that it will participate in Tokyo Game Show 2026 alongside six Taiwanese indie game development teams.
The featured titles are 'Seeker Tactics' by DA2 Creative, 'Beastfolk Barber' by Safe Flight Games, 'The Immolation Apartment' by 25 Monkey Games, 'Hot Stuff' by Let's Play a Game Studio, 'Moments' by Mugio, and 'Mixervivor' by QPZM. Each title will be showcased at booth 09-C33 in Hall 9 of the Tokyo Game Show Indie Game Area.
Through this participation, TCA plans to introduce the creativity and development capabilities of Taiwanese indie games to global players and industry insiders, while seeking collaboration opportunities with overseas publishers, investors, and industry partners.
Commissioned by the Administration for Digital Industries under Taiwan's Ministry of Digital Affairs, TCA runs innovative application programs to develop the digital content industry. Since 2020, the Administration for Digital Industries has promoted programs to encourage indie game development and value addition, supporting 56 game studios and aiding the commercial release of 18 titles to date.
In addition, TCA has produced 'Taiwan Game Developers Highlights 2026,' featuring information on winning teams from the support program, which will be distributed on-site at Tokyo Game Show. The goal is to raise the international awareness of Taiwanese indie games.
Organized by TCA, 'Taipei Game Show 2027' will take place from January 21 to 24, 2027. The Taipei Game Show Organizing Committee will also participate in booth 04-C09 in Hall 4 during Tokyo Game Show to promote the event and collaboration opportunities in the Asian gaming market.
